Restylane is a natural cosmetic filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin.  It is used to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.  Restylane is the first dermal filler made of non-animal hyaluronic acid.  Due to its natural substance, allergic reactions are rare.

Restylane is FDA approved and typically lasts for about six months.  There may be some redness and swelling after your treatment.  This usually persists less than seven days.  Sun bathing and cold outdoor activities should be avoided until the redness and swelling disappear.  No pretesting is required and it can be used safely in conjunction with Botox.
